Whenever you think you are in control of your universe…
There was a time when the only thing I would think about was watching TV and eating popcorn. On the weekend it would be another party and a hangover on Sunday. But times have changed.
Hi, my name is Stephen Stefanski and I am 65 years young and just getting better every day. I have an online presence that I am very proud of. But I am not here to brag about that. I want to tell you about my past.
Born in Bangor, Me with 6 brothers and sisters I found that you get to the dinner table fast, or you don’t even get leftovers. My father was a traveling salesman so the only time we saw him was on the weekends, and August when he got his two weeks vacation. He grew tired of working for someone else so he bought his own little grocery store in a little town in Vermont and never looked back.
This process put me in the frame of mind to always have my own business. From being a paperboy at 12 then working in the grocery business with my father. Then I ended up owning several businesses which I sold. I am now retired but not finished. I found the internet on the first day and then I never looked back.
I created the brand name American Influence and have found good success. I continue helping other people achieve their dreams, in turn, this gives me a sense of satisfaction.
Every business has a beginning, and this is where you talk about yours. People want to know what opportunity you saw or how your passion led to the creation of something new. Talk about your roots–people wanna know you have some.
I have retired Brasil where I still keep in touch with the rest of the world. (Not a third world country) When I am not playing with my grandsons I am working on the internet. I learn something new every day. I hope I give back as much as I learn.
My future is locked in the internet. I have a burn that I can’t put out. Nor do I want to. My wife and I have an agreement. If I have my earbuds on she just has to yell a little louder to get my attention. My number one saying that is “Time is not short, only life is”. Remember this because speaking from experience, you will understand this when you are 65 years old.
